DOLPH'S THOUGHTS:
This picture is more of a suspense thriller, kind of reminds me of Cover Up. It also doesn't have as much action as my other movies. It deals with an ex CIA operative who gets involved with this CIA / NSA (National Security Agency) scheme to use undercover government funds for illegal purposes. There is much more dialogue, so more acting involved and therefor more rehearsals.
There was a very nice cast of local actors, and the filmmaker Marc Grenier is an ex-commercial director with his own original sense of style. This was a chance to work with a smaller ensemble film. The plot is much more concerned with small details and with what people say, or didn't say, then blowing up the world.
This was a good experience, and I enjoyed the process. Hopefully people will enjoy seeing me in a slightly different role, wearing a suit instead of a camo-outfit, and carrying a cigar and a glass of red wine instead of a machine gun. But I must say I look forward to getting back into the action world with some fights and shoot outs, some car chases and big explosions, to deliver to the audience what they (I guess) want to see me do, which is, I suppose, to kick ass!
